Have you ruled out diabetes but can’t explain your patient’s altered condition? This interactive case study presentation highlights Addison’s disease, Cushing’s Syndrome, and Grave’s disease. A nuts and bolts approach will be used to address the ALS and BLS considerations for managing these less than common conditions.

What makes me qualified to present this topic?
- Lead Instructor for one of the largest accredited paramedic programs in the Rocky Mountain Region. Have refined and cultivated this presentation by teaching this subject within our curriculum to over 70 paramedic candidates annually.
- The case studies within this presentation are patients I personally treated and followed through their hospital course. I learned valuable information in relation to patient presentation and EMS management strategies that should be shared with other EMS professionals.
- Submitted an article for publication to JEMS Magazine on this topic which is going through the final editorial process prior to publishing.
